Hedman Hedders 69420 Details

Hedman Hedders 69420 long-tube fenderwell headers are built to fit 1965-1971 Jeep CJ5/CJ6 applications running the Buick V6 (Dauntless 225) and compatible 231 V6 swaps. The fenderwell-exit, long-tube layout helps clear tight under-hood and chassis areas common on early CJ builds while improving exhaust scavenging versus stock manifolds.

These headers use 1-1/2" primary tubes (16-gauge mild steel) and a 2-1/2" ball-and-socket style collector connection for a gasketless seal and easier alignment during installation. They’re shipped as uncoated mild steel with a temporary paint finish, and the kit includes the key pieces you need to button up the install—reducers to 2" exhaust, gaskets, and mounting/collector hardware—making them a solid starting point for a durable, serviceable CJ V6 exhaust setup.
