Hedman Hedders 69116 Details

Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, and they've been manufacturing long and MID-LENGTH tube headers for Chevy trucks for nearly as long. Each set uses mild steel, smooth flowing, CNC mandrel bent tubes, that are hand-welded to ensure each pair is identical to the next. Hedman's unique, gasketless ball and socket collector design allows your Big Block Chevy exhaust system to bolt up, even if it is not perfectly aligned with the header collectors.

These HTC coated, LONG-TUBE headers are one of Hedman's best selling Chevy truck headers. They fit a wide range of early to mid-year 2WD and 4WD Chevy Trucks and SUVs, powered by a Big Block Chevy engine. Included in this header's long list of applications is 1968-1991 Chevy/GMC 1/2 to 1 Ton 2WD, or 1/2 and 3/4 ton 4WD trucks, Blazers and Suburbans (check the application listings for exact fitment). The smooth 1-3/4 in. tube design provides ample exhaust flow to let your truck's 396-502 BB Chevy engine breathe easy, and produce maximum horsepower and torque.

Each set includes a pair of gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts. No collector gasket is needed.

Hedman Hedders is so confident in the quality of its headers that these headers are factory backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. These headers have a high temperature, POLISHED-SILVER ceramic finish that resists corrosion, and can withstand temperatures up to 1400 degree F. This finish is covered by a 5-year factory warranty, in addition to Hedman's standard lifetime header warranty.

For race/ off road use or for use on pre-1966 vehicles.

Emissions warning: this part only legal for sale or use in California for racing (competition) vehicles which may never be used, registered, or licensed for use upon a public highway, or if installed in vehicles model-year 1965 or older; motorcycles model-year 1977 or older; or off-highway recreational vehicles (such as off-road motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles) model-year 1996 and older. Any other use renders the vehicle tampered and not legal for use on California public highways (any public street or roadway, public dirt road, public park, or publicly maintained right of way open to the use of the public for vehicular travel).
