Customers appreciate the product for its easy installation, robust build, and clear instructions. Many applaud its practicality for different vehicles, expressing satisfaction with its performance. It's notably appreciated for its hazard-setting feature, not typically found in competitors' products. Its usability in various projects - old pickups, vintage race cars, & '30s models - is highlighted. A few negatives were criticisms about poor-quality clamp and light bulb housing. However, most customers retrofitted it to their satisfaction and would repurchase again.

Turn signal switch
I originally gave a good review on this unit but after installing it I found the indicator light would not go out on the unit even with the ignition off. Contacted Speedway and after a few questions it was determined the unit was faulty. I was forwarded to another customer service person who told me to return the item for replacement. That's fine but to return it AT MY COST! That's not good customer relations.

Installed this into my '31 Model A. Second one I've bought and it's easy to wire, easy to mount to column. I'm using a '38 Ford column and '38 Ford Banjo wheel and it fits nice behind it. Easy to reach. Only other thing I will say is make sure you tighten the screws on the back before mounting it, they come a little loose from the factory.

Added this to a 1948 International truck, converted to 12V Neg Ground. Truck has been under construction so never used the switch other than initially when connecting to all new wiring. A couple years later as truck was near finished, the switch would not work. Flasher unit would not fully pull out or lock. Signal lights would not work. Wiring/grounds/fuses/lights all tested good. Just my luck. Purchased a new switch, spliced my wires, and all was well. Not sure the issue, but would still recommend the switch.

Hooked up the turn signal switch. Everything works. When I start the vehicle the 4way light on the switch flashes. 4 ways are not on. I can feel the flasher and it is pulsing. Any ideas?

I wired into a 12 circuit harness with a three prong flasher Everything was working. Then suddenly quit. No signal no flasher no brake lights. Head lights and tail lights work. Looked for loose connections, found none. I do have front turn led's. The back are not. This was all working and flashing normaly, even with the front led's. I tried disconnecting the front led's to see if this might be an issue. But still nothing. I do have power to the flasher. What is the best way to test the signal circuit? Is there a chance the switch is defective?
