Overall Assessment

Customers highly recommend the product for its functionality and effectiveness, decisively fixing the turn signal issue for older vehicles like a 1950's Chevy truck and pre-55 vehicles. Not only does it work well with aftermarket turn signal setups, but it's also reported to resolve issues with a combination of incandescent and LED bulbs for turn signals and running lights. Despite a minor issue with the dashboard turn signal indicator, the product's quality stands out, particularly due to its usability with resistors. It is cost-efficient, being cheaper than similar products elsewhere, and popular among repeat customers.

After I did a 12v conversion on my 356, I used a combination of incandescent and LED bulbs for turn signals and running lights. Over time, the OE style signal relay slowed down and stopped working. This electronic relay fixed the issue of the exterior turn signals, but seemingly caused another, which is that the dashboard turn signal indicator now doesn't work. Still investigating…

What is height of barrel? I am building a custom fuse box and switch panel. The 550 Thermal flasher is far too tall, and I am looking to replace it. Will this replace a standard 550 flasher, and how tall is the barrel portion of the unit in inches or metric? Thanks!
