Overall Assessment

Customers generally seem satisfied with the product's quality and functionality, highlighting its usability and overall performance. They frequently mentioned the product's effective function with various Ford engines. Additionally, the product appears to offer good value for its price, with users noting that similar products from other companies are significantly more expensive. However, some customers reported size fitting issues with certain models, but most still considered the product to be worth it. A few mentioned the poor quality of certain parts, but these seem isolated cases. On balance, the product appears to be a favorite choice for customers seeking reliable functionality at a good price.

Gear Puzzle

When the distributor was delivered, the box said it was for Ford Hei Roller Cam engines. However, the box states that the distributor gear must be replaced with a bronze gear. Techs say the dist has the correct cam for OEM rollers. Confused?? Me, too. The Q/A section answered the question. The distributor has the correct cam for an OEM roller. The box label is correct for aftermarket roller cams.

Oil pump hex size is not 1/4", it is too small

Oil pump hex is too small, it does not fit the oil pump shaft on a 302 Ford with a stock oil pump driveshaft, I could file it out to fit but I shouldn't have to, very poor quality. I am going to return but speedway is going to charge me to ship it. Disappointing.

it was a drop in functional part, it worked, the parts are cheaply made china products, mine came with a defective rotor which caused it to misfire, after replacing it,it fires correctly now, it is machined well and didn't interfere with the intake or brackets, the detail description was vague , the oil pump drive is 1/4 hex, which fit my 93 -5.0

I would definitely buy this part again it worked really well only complaint I would have is the size takes up a lot of room if you don't have it under your hood but it's still worth it .
