Used this hose when I had to relocate my gas tank on my'55 Chevy Belair. After doing a leaf spring pocket kit. I had to extend the fuel filler neck about 4 inches. Worked great. Hose is heavy duty but had enough flex for perfect alignment to tank input. No leaks

Needed this to install a Le Mans gas filler.

I was installing a Le Mans gas filler/door in my 84 Corvette. I needed this hose to bridge the gap between the factory gas filler and the new one. That required trimming the rim off the factory filler tube so the hose would go over it. The factory filler tube did not line up exactly with the center of the original gas door, so I had to manipulate the hose to fit at both ends. It is a very stiff hose! I had to cut a section of it to use, and using a hacksaw was great for cutting the rubber, and used wire cutters to cut the wire reinforcement. In the short distance I had to work with, it was difficult to work with, but that was not the fault of the hose. I am very happy with the final results.

Easy install

Replaced the hose on a new tank on a 60El Camino......dreaded this part, but this hose has a stiffness that made it easy.

I enquired before purchase about a flexable hose....I received the product and it was not flexable and could not be used for my needs as a fuel filler hose for a 36 chev
