    Edelbrock 8711 Details

Use open spacers where more plenum volume or more carb-to-plenum floor distance is required. 4-hole spacers enhance low-rpm torque and throttle response and dampen reversion effects on the carb. The superior heat insulating properties of wood fiber laminate are ideal for reducing heat transfer to the carb.
    • Use Spacer to Enhance Low-RPM Torque

    Overall Assessment

Customers highlight the Edelbrock spacer as practical, durable, and fitting perfectly. Its black color is appealing under the carburetor. The users report that it works optimally with the Edelbrock AVS2 650cfm carburetor, confirming good alignment and non-interference with secondary's operation. Some note the hardware could be longer, but this was easily amended by the customer. It is also confirmed to be a 4-hole spacer, aligning with the Edelbrock part number. Overall, customers endorse the product for its quality and compatibility.

Used this 1" spacer on an Edelbrock AVS2 650cfm carburetor and alignment was good and did not interfere with secondary's operation. Bolt holes for mounting lined up great. Works as it should.

The spacer is made well and is black so I like the look of it under the carb. The studs that came with it were too short. only 2 or 3 threads showed after gaskets were installed. Not enough room for a washer and nut. I know if I would have let Speedway know, they would have remedied the issue, but I had longer studs and the problem was solved.

Had to write to Speedway to make sure it was a 4 hole spacer according to the Edelbrock part # even though the picture shows an open spacer. Fits perfectly for my needs.
