Edelbrock Flathead Cylinder Head

Designed specifically for Ford Flathead engines from 1938 to 1948, the Edelbrock #1125 Flathead Cylinder Heads offer the perfect blend of performance, durability, and classic style.

  • Compatibility: Fits Ford and Mercury Flathead 221 (3.6L) & 239 (3.9L) engines.
  • Design: Features the original Edelbrock script logo and rugged internals and externals, ribbed for enhanced durability.
  • Material: Cast in the USA at the Edelbrock Foundry from T-6 tempered A356 aluminum for maximum strength and longevity.
  • Performance: Increased water capacity for improved cooling, combined with excellent breathing characteristics for optimal engine performance.
  • Compression: The 65cc heads support an 8.0:1 compression ratio on blocks with a 3/16" base relief (stock bore and stroke). The compression ratio increases approximately 3/10 of a percent with each 1/8" stroke.

My original head had a Crack in it and needed replacing.I ordered two new heads and they were here in 3 days.I couldn't get them installed for 2 weeks.My mechanic installed them and did a great job.The car has more horsepower and running cooler I would recommend these heads to all Flat head engine owners.
