EMPI 3895 Details

Highly Polished 100% Stainless Steel...Great looks and No Rust...ever!  Stronger with a more durable finish - that won't dull - like polished aluminum.  Available in 5 lengths, 10" diameter and include 2 polished stainless steel straps, stainless steel hardware, and a twist on gas cap.

  • 10" x 16" Tank
  • 13" top of gas cap to bottom of fuel port
  • Features female 1/4" NPT threaded outlet fitting
  • Center location filler neck
  • 5 gallon capacity (approximate measurement)

Note: When installing a fitting or shut-off valve (not included- shown for illustration/reference ONLY), caution must be taken not to over-torque and crack or break the fuel outlet. (See alternate photo)

I bought this little tank for my boat, I wanted a small tank as I didn't want premix two stroke fuel going off. The boat has a vintage Blaxland twin cylinder two stroke engine, the tank is perfect both aesthetically and functionally. The price was good and shipping fast.

Once I clean up the finish, it will work great on my project. Mounting brackets position tank outlet just above bracket level. I needed to add 2" spacers to allow the tank to sit up high enough for a 90 deg. outlet fitting. Had to return the first tank I received, as the filler neck threads were too wide to accept the special aluminum gas cap (original gas cap is black plastic). New gas tank works well with the gas cap. Kind of a hassle to package up the first tank and take it down to Mail Express to return it, but Speedway has done everything possible to make things right.
