Works well!
I have a Flowmaster 50 series 3" single exhaust that was just too loud. I could not find a sufficient muffler that was advertised to be quieter with a 3" diameter. The Auger seemed like a cheap way to try out an easy fix. Works well. I inserted into the exit of my system and the noise is now manageable. Only complaint is air noise at idle from the piece being at the very end of the system. Had I cut the pipe and installed farther into the system it would probably eliminate this. Good product and would use again.

Good price, great sound, but some modification required.
This is a very inexpensive way of quieting your exhaust without adding bulky mufflers. The sound is great. However, it WOULD NOT fit directly into my 3" muffler. I had to use a hammer to bend the fins at various places before it would slide in because the construction is not perfect. Also, it will rattle around if you do not make sure that it is fitted tightly inside and welded at one end.

I used 2 of these on a twin turbo ls with pretty short down pipes and it did have a noticeable difference in sound the only downside is it did choke it out a little but I made them removable so best of both worlds
