Axel is going on a 38 Chevy Coupe Gasser , I ran a speedway straight axel for years it was perfect ! . I'm hoping the 4in drop has the steering quality as the straight axel

I BOUGHT KIT WITH STRAIGHT AXLE...SAT TOO HIGH, SO I ORDERED 4'' DROP, WAS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH CENTER LINK HITTING SPRINGS, CALLED YOUR TECH LINE, AND WAS TOLD IT WAS MY PROBLEM FOR MIXING, AND MATCHING PARTS...YET IF I HAD ORDERED THE KIT WITH A 4'' DROP, IT STILL WOULD HAVE HAD THE SAME COMPONENT PARTS. SO , I DON'T KNOW IF I WILL BE A REPEAT CUSTOMER!

Would Recommend

Everything looks good I havent installed it yet. Good Job.

Can I get this axle in 46 inch width? I want this tube axle in a 46 inch (king pin to king pin) width AND a 4 inch drop. CAN THIS BE DONE? If so what is the correct part number for the axle? The way I understand it a axle of 46 pin to pin will give me a final hub to hub of 54 1/2. Thanks for your help.

what is the maximum vehicle or front end weight for this axle ? I'm planning a 39 Dodge pickup with a 330 desoto hemi. Engine will be set back apprx. 5 inches from stock location. Will run on parallel leaf springs. Will be street driven, no strip use. Also, would you advise Chevy style spindles ? (extra strength ?) Thanks

Is this the same axle as you use to build T-bucket front ends? If I use this axle to build a full front end will the parts used to complete the T-bucket 4 bar work, aside from the '28-'48 Ford spindles? I need an axle I can "tweak" to adjust the camber without damaging the finish. Also what is the hub width when equipped with the 910-31942 brake kit?
