Detroit Speed 070510DS Details

The Detroit Speed C6 Full Floater Kit provides improved handling through predictable and consistent brake pedal height and tire contact patch. The elimination of axle deflection reduces brake "knockback" and increases bearing life. The Detroit Speed Full Floater Kit utilizes a C6 bearing pack and is compatible with stock GM C6 or aftermarket C6 rear brake systems.

Fitment Notes:

We recommend that this kit is installed by a professional driveline shop. Product alignment and welding is required Assembled rear axle housings are available upon request.

From the Installation Instructions

Kit Includes:

Two C6 SKF hub assemblies
C6 hub spacers and caliper mounts LH/RH
Hub shims, center caps and hardware kit with inner and outer axle seals
Hub axle ends LH/RH (weld to axle tubes)

Required / Sold Separately:

Ford 9" housing, floater axle shafts and third member
C6 Corvette brakes (calipers, brackets, rotors, pads) or aftermarket C6 brakes
Optional M12 x 1.5 wheel studs ARP 100-7708

Installation Notes:

Axle ends must be welded to the axle tubes by a qualified welder
Inner seals fit 2.560" axle tubes
