How to Identify Your LS Engine

For 24x LS Engines (Gen III)

• Examples: LS1, LS6, LQ4, Early LS2
• Look for a black crankshaft reluctor wheel
• Use Kit 119072 or 119172

For 58x LS Engines (Gen IV)

• Examples: LS3, LS7, LS9, Later LS2
• Look for a gray crankshaft reluctor wheel or a cam gear with four raised areas
• Use Kit 119075, 119076, 119175, or 119176
