These "rams horn" cast iron exhaust manifolds were patterned off the 1962-63 327 Corvette but are not OEM remanufactured manifolds (no casting numbers). They feature the big 2-1/2" diameter outlets and have provisions to accept original alternator type brackets. They are the perfect addition to a retro 327 style build: 365hp L76, 375hp L84, or 350hp L79 (all came with 2-1/2" outlets).
These Chevy ram horn manifolds are copies of the original1962-63 Corvette manifolds and can be used on almost any small block engine up to 1999. The cast in brackets are for the water tank on the drivers side and generator bracket on the passenger side. These can be cut off and smoothed per customers preference. These are a square port configuration with 1-5/16” top to bottom and also side to side. Compare to your head port size for compatibility.

this product got me unstuck
i thought it would be cool to put angle plug heads on my 383 i built for my GMC Jimmy. when i installed it, i had problems with my exhaust. block huggers ran into my motor mounts, and long tube hit spark plugs. as we all know, stroker motors need to breath, and that aint happening with stock 1984 manifolds. than i found your earlr c3 ramhorns, they work great. thanks for the fast shipping time too RG

Corvette Manifolds, 2-1/2 inch/ Parts Kit
1) Attachment bolt selection incorrect. The manifolds came with 8 long bolts and 4 short bolts. There should be 8 SHORT BOLTS and 4 LONG BOLTS. 2) The 6 studs for the outlets flanges are too short for use with the typical Chevy exhaust donut. They should be at least 3/8 to 1/2 longer.

I broke my left side original casting. Ordered these to replace. Well built and fit perfect. Probably better made than originals. They are original style castings in style and fitment. They are not number matching castings but that is not what I was looking for. Great price and value if bought as a pair with hardware. The short bolts to head were missing from hardware kit. Everything else was included.

Manifold was the same dimensions as my stock manifold as was well made. the bolts that were included bottomed out in the head because they were about 1/2 inch too long. I was able to use the existing bolts for installation.

I installed them on 1965 Impala SS. I did not need the brackets, so those were cut off. Easier than I thought to cut those. A couple of angle cuts on the chop saw and a little grinding. Not too bad. I had to clearance the manifold a little next to the power steering box, but not too bad there ether. I have the original ram horns, but the 2" is not desirable. The 2.5" on the Speedway ram horns are perfect.
