Competition Engineering C3187 Details

Competition Engineering C3187 Funny Car Cage Kit is a mild-steel, pre-bent tubing package designed to upgrade an existing 10-point (or higher) roll cage to include Funny Car cage-style driver protection. The kit uses 1-5/8" O.D. x .134" wall mild steel for the main structure, plus 1" O.D. x .118" wall head/helmet guard tubes, providing additional containment around the driver’s head and upper body.

All tubes are mandrel-formed in-house on CNC equipment for consistent bends, but they’re intentionally shipped long and un-notched so the cage can be trimmed and custom-fit to your specific chassis and seating position. This is a fabrication-required kit—all welding is required—and it’s intended to meet NHRA and IHRA requirements when installed correctly.
