suspension is critical; don't skimp here

These mounting bolts proved to be easy to use and an attractive compliment to the Carrera coilovers on my rear suspension. There is a sense of security in using a product that is designed for a specific purpose. The suspension on a vehicle is quite serious business. alan

Woops! Didn't Fit,Don't Look Quite Right

I had to make some modifications to this product to enable me to use it. The bolt enclosed was not long enough for the coil-overs I am using. I had to drill out the aluminum spacer to accept a Grade 8, 5/8" X 5" long fine threaded bolt. It would be nice if the catalog listed the length of the bolt and gave a little more information about the coil-overs to use with this shock mount. I may not even use after all, It just don't look right. More Information would be great.

I am trying to button up my T-bucket rear suspension, the shocks I have chosen have a spherical end and are only 1/2". Is there a version of this Shock Mount Support that is 1/2" and not 5/8"?

Just from reading everything here, it seems the threaded rod that inserts into the axle mount is too short for my application. Is it possible to remove that threaded rod and install a longer one? Aside from that, this part looks exactly like what I need. For some reason I've been struggling to find these things most places.

I have this mount on the lowest hole in the ladder bar bracket that is welded to the axle housing. The lowest hole does not leave clearance for the socket to go on the nut at the back side due to socket thickness, and the allen end is not in the best shape . If I understand correctly the large piece between the bracket and shock is threaded. Might it be possible to put a wrench on the hex portion and unscrew from there . Maybe you have an easier way otherwise I think it may be a porta- band and order the set up new and replace it all.
