Details

It's getting more popular to run a Ford in a Ford. That said, the engine dress-up items are hard to find and rather expensive, until now. We now offer these Cobra-style single quad air cleaners which look perfect on 289-351W Ford V8s. Features finned cast aluminum construction and a 2" tall paper filter element.

Available in plain or polished finish. Measures 15-1/8" x 8-5/16" and includes carb stud and hold-down nut.

on my '65 AC Cobra, wanted to dress up the quad air cleaner. Ordered this part, came quickly and packaged nicely. Sadly DID NOT allow my hood to close correctly, rode too high, and would not work. Disappointed as this was a well made, good looking part. I had to send it back for credit, did so and response and settlement was very quick. I installed this on my 38 Chevy pickup with a small block Chevy V8. My valve covers are vintage finned aluminum Cal Customs. I ordered the unpolished version of this air cleaner. The only thing negative about this product is the sharp edges on each end of the milled fins. I filed these down to match the contour of my valve covers and it all looks correct.
