Return PolicyThe ATK Engines DCEW remanufactured Chevy DOHC 2.4L engine is a reliable replacement for 2011-2017 GM applications, designed to restore factory performance, efficiency, and everyday drivability. Built for a range of gas or Flex Fuel vehicles, this 2.4L four-cylinder engine is a practical solution for replacing a worn or damaged original engine while maintaining OEM-style fitment and operation. Its dual overhead cam design supports smooth power delivery and efficient performance for daily-driven cars, crossovers, and utility vehicles.
This remanufactured engine features Dual Variable Valve Timing, which helps optimize power, fuel economy, and throttle response across the RPM range. The cylinder head is designed with no smog holes, making application matching an important part of installation. ATK also notes an advisory to check clearance of the upper timing chain guide during installation, helping ensure proper fit and avoid interference issues. With gas or Flex Fuel compatibility and a remanufactured build focused on dependable operation, the DCEW is a solid replacement option for many 2011-2017 GM 2.4L applications.
