At some point or another in our hot-rodding lives we’ve had to store an engine for an indefinite length of time. Perhaps your new project is in paint-prison? Or maybe the kids need braces, and your garage therapy must be put on hold. Whatever the reason, you need to put up your LS engine until such time you can continue with your project. This is the 21st century, so don’t waste your time attempting to make engine block off port covers with masking tape that dries out in a month leaving a powdery mess and no protection, or even worse duct tape that takes two days of cleaning the sticky mess off your pretty aluminum cylinder heads a year from now. Instead, pick up our aluminum LS engine exhaust port block off plates kit that quickly and easily bolts down over your exhaust ports, fully sealing these ports from garage critters and keeping your LS ready to go.

Exhaust Port Covers Ensure Proper Sealing of Fully Assembled Engines

Our LS block off plates fits all LS engine exhaust ports and is made from premium .160-inch 5052-H32 aluminum sheet for secure sealing of your LS exhaust ports. Installation of these exhaust port block off plates is quick and easy, requiring only a clean and debris free gasket surfaces before installation. This engine block off plates kit can be used for storage of spare race engines, long term storage of a fully assembled or new crate engines with intake manifold and water pump already installed and that only needs protection of the exhaust port openings during storage.
