Billet Specialties FM2221PC Details

Genuine Billet Specialties style, quality, fit and finish are engineered into these serpentine conversion kits. All brackets and pulleys are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum & polished to a mirror finish. Designed to bolt right on and align correctly the first time. Includes stainless steel hardware.

Designed for use with:

  • 396-454 Big Block Chevy (not 572, not tall deck heads) 
  • Long water pump (standard rotation)
  • GM 60 to 80 amp alternator (passenger side)
  • Saginaw power steering pump ('75-'77 Chevelle with V8)

Kit Includes: 

  • Polished billet aluminum mid mount pass side alternator bracket
  • Polished billet aluminum mid mount power steering bracket
  • Polished billet aluminum alternator pulley with fan & nose cone
  • Polished billet aluminum water pump pulley with nose cone
  • Polished billet aluminum crankshaft pulley
  • Polished billet aluminum power steering pump pulley and bracket
  • Polished stainless steel turnbuckles
  • Stainless steel mounting hardware
  • High quality QA1 rod ends

Note:  Serpentine belts are not provided in kit.  Recommended Alternator Belt:  Goodyear 6 Rib # 4060420 (42") or Dayco 6 Rib #5060420 (42")   Recommended Power Steering Belt:  Goodyear 6 Rib #4060385 (38.5") or Dayco #5060388 (38.8").

Had to drill out and mill the water pump pulley and cover to 3/4" to get it to fit. Other than that I love it. Looks better than other products out there that cost a lot more

First, let me tell you that speedway and the product are fantastic and I am very pleased with both. The kit arrived early and was well packaged. The entire transaction was a pleasure. OK, with the smoke having been blown, I will explain MY CONS. The instructions may be a real problem for a novice and cause more work than is needed. They tell you to remove the water pump, period, but you don't necessarily need to depending on your setup. I did not! The hardware issue is that, if you have an older style engine and replaced your harmonic balancer (as you should) with an after market part, there is likely to be an unthreaded space in the front of the pulley mounting holes making the included bolts too short. Luckily my local hardware store had longer bolts of the same type. The cooling fan bullet nose pretty much only works with electric fans but does make a very nice benchtop paper weight.

this is a great product and would improve the engine (looks) and or engine compartment on any car or truck and what a time saver if you are dropping a motor in a car or truck with a differant engine or a much smaller engine - you hot rodders no what i'm talking about .............
