- These high volume Chevy oil pumps have longer internal gears that can produce 22% more volume than a standard oil pump
- The high volume oil pump is designed to provide additional oil volume for engines with loose clearances (quick rebuilds or high-mileage engines) or those operating at sustained high RPM (racing)
- It comes with an oil pump drive shaft (part number 54522070) and a steel sleeve, making it perfect for use with high volume pumps
- If using this 5-bolt oil pump on a SBC motor, additional modifications may need to be made to the oil pan for clearance. For Oval Track racing applications, oil pans 91015104, 91015106, or 91015108 (all work with pickup 91015131) are recommended

Speedway Motors 9100462 Details
These high volume Chevy oil pumps use longer internal gears to produce 22% more volume than a standard oil pump. They have a 5 bolt cover and require a 3/4" diameter pickup.
There are many scenarios where a standard-volume oil pump won't provide the protection your engine needs. Engines with loose clearances (quick rebuilds or high-mileage engines) will need more oil volume to maintain a desired pressure. Engines operating at sustained high RPM (racing) also typically need more oil volume to maintain pressure in all oil galleries.
- Fits 1965-2000 big block Chevy (HV stock replacement)
- Includes oil pump drive shaft (54522070)

NOTE: If using this 5-bolt oil pump on a SBC motor, additional modifications may need to be made to the oil pan for clearance. For Oval Track racing applications, we recommend oil pans 91015104, 91015106, or 91015108 (all work with pickup 91015131).
