The exhaust baffles where exactly what I needed I used them in a 3 inch stack on my tractor Sounds awesome

Great to quiet down a rowdy exhaust quickly by just slipping them up the tail pipes or for hotrods where you dont want big bulky mufflers

I used the augers in between two 3" X 18" resonators and it really cut the noise level

No I would not. They are not 3". I guess they are worth 14.

Buying another set fir my Vette

So i originally bought these for one of my race cars, I had a job for a jeep commander hemi Engine rebuild and the resonator/muffler on this jeep had a hole in it. Customer didn't want to wait for a new resonator from dealer and so I told him i had something that would work. I was afraid this truck would be super loud so I installed both in the pipe. These hammered perfectly into a 3" exhaust tube, no need to weld in place. The v8 commander only has one exhaust pipe running down to the body to a muffler smaller than a flowmaster 40. My fear was this was going to be super loud. I started car up and OMJ the most beautiful noise from a hemi came out. It was definitely louder than factory and sounded great. Fear-full of noise complaint from customer iI took the truck for a spin. I didn't hear any noise in cab, a mild exhaust grumble at idle was heard inside, instead of the hemi engine lifter noise. No popping no resonating pitch was heard and the car just sang. The jeep sounded like a factory performance exhaust. Customer loves it, he said he cannot tell a difference in noise level while driving and at idle he feels the car sounds like it has a hemi in it. So i am going to order an additional set for my c5 corvette street/strip car in 3.5" to replace the BBE exhaust currently on car.

Cuts noise down

I have open headers with 3" collector extensions 17" long. I welded a tab on center of insert tube so I could use a slide hammer to get them out when I went to the track. They quietened it down enough to drive on the street if you take it easy. A cop pulled up next to me as I made a right turn and didn't even look my way.
