I have a wooden smokehouse and want to insulate on the inside. There is not direct contact with heat. The smoker will reach a maximum inside temperature of approx. 180 degrees. Will be more of a barrier.

Can I use the aluminized heat and noise insulation shield on the under side of the seat on my golf cart to reduce engine noise. It will be about 1 inch clearance from top of muffler. i would assume i can use it on sides of engine compartment to reduce noise their also. Looks like I can buy the spray adhesive to hold the shield in place?
