Overall Assessment

Many customers praised the product's fit and design, mentioning that installation was simple, it adjusted well and worked as expected. A few noted its compatibility with specific models such as a 4150 Holley Carb and a 66 Mustang. However, numerous negative reviews referenced issues with leakage due to poor construction, particularly in relation to the fittings. The fittings were cited as falling apart or failing to tighten properly. Some customers commented on the use of plastic washers and pins pulling through the housing as points of weakness. A few customers resorted to fixing issues themselves, such as adding a shoulder to the fitting for the gasket to seat on or grinding down a hex nut. Despite these issues, several customers still recommend the product.

Duel Feed fuel log

This fuel log is very good. Great color. Fits Great. Works like it should. The only problem is I had to grind down the second hex nut of the fuel bowl extension because it got caught on the fuel bowl screw and prohibited it from tightening down enough seal. After I ground the nut down it sealed perfect and works just like it should.

Cheap, you get what you pay for

I have actually purchased two of these now, biggest complaint is the fitting that threads into the carburetor does not have a shoulder for the gasket to seat on, causing the gasket to "squish" out if extreme care is not taken while installing. I just took the pieces to the lathe and added a shoulder. I also ditch the cheasy nipple for fuel line attachment and install an AN fitting. The most recent fuel log I have purchased has some pretty small passages, it could stand to be bored out for better flow.

I received the log and pretty fast. I waited a couple of weeks before I decided to put it on. I screwed it into my carb and the press in part of the lines just fell out. I figured no big deal better now than on the road. I put them back in and sealed them up. Bolted it back on the carb and tried to start it and that's where all the trouble really started. It was pouring fuel out of every possible place it could. I snuggled it up some more and it just got worse. Pulled it off again and the pins that hold the nuts for the an fittings pulled through the housing. Off all the logs I've used. I've never seen one that did the. Just straight up poor quality.

While installing this product on my carburator it fell apart at the fittings. I'm glad it happened then instead of when I was running the car! It would have been a big fire with 112 race fuel

Fuel fitting won't tighten to fuel log fitting. Snap washer used to keep fitting on is disfigured. Sprayed fuel all over on first startup.

Can I get 1/2" hose barb instead of the 3/8?

how insulated from heat is this. Tubes seem very large for a 3/8 feed. Is it double lined or just large open tube? It will be almost touching my Torquer manifold that gets really hot.

what size of o-rings are used on the ends that go into the center section? I have one of these and it started leaking out one end. I have checked all around at the parts houses and cannot find a correct o-ring. I believe that it is a 1/2 id x 3/4 od. everything that I can find is 1/2 id x 11/16 od and it fits loose and leaks. thanks
