ARP 150-2202 Details
The importance of pressure plate bolts in racing or hi-performance street application cannot be emphasized nearly enough. These fasteners play a key role in both the performance and safety of a vehicle. Because of this, ARP has developed a special pressure plate bolts that are application specific to ensure the optimum grip length. ARP offers High Performance Series bolts that are made from a premium grade chromoly and hardened to a nominal tensile strength of 180,000 psi.

The Tremec TKX tranny kit was supplied with the wrong size pressure plate bolts, 5/16 standard coarse thread. The required bolts are 8MM 1.29. Had to contact the pressure plate manufacturer to get the correct size requirement. Speedway once contacted sent the correct bolts and they work as intended. But I just found out Speedway provided the wrong bell housing size bolts....what the heck is going on here Speedway!
