Overall Assessment

Customers appreciate the excellent ride quality and aesthetic appeal of the Afco coilovers. They believe the product offers good value for its cost. The coilovers, while designed with non-adjustable valving, provide limited improvement in softening rides despite changing the spring rate. However, they're recommended for fully fendered cars or sedans where they reportedly demonstrate superior performance. Some customers feel they might have benefited from further research before purchase but still acknowledge the coilovers' strengths.

Trying to create a softer ride in my '34 highboy roadster, I changed the springrate from 240 to 165, it barely made a difference. It has to be the non adjustable valving creating the harsh ride. These shocks are more suited to a full fendered car or a sedan.
