Complete application specific exhaust systems are a great DIY option for increased performance and exhaust sound. But what if you’re building something custom (engine, driveline swaps, short bed conversions, etc.) or your ride is simply of the age that direct fit systems aren’t available? Well then, you’re going to be building your own exhaust system. You probably have manifolds or headers already picked out for fitment reasons like an LS swap, but south of the manifold or header exit is often left up a local exhaust shop and their limited product line. Standard round tubing might get the job done but often ends up reducing ground clearance and causing numerous fitment headaches.

The answer is using oval exhaust tube! The oval exhaust tube cross section provides for increased flow while not requiring any more height than most standard exhaust systems. The cross section of the typical oval exhaust pipe means you have additional clearance height wise, perfect for lowered vehicles or vehicles with minimal traditional exhaust routing space. Our oval 3-inch stainless exhaust tubing features a 4-bolt exhaust flange, providing the perfect solution when making a custom oval exhaust routing to clear drivetrain or chassis components while allowing easy removal for servicing of these components. Manufactured from 16-gauge (.060-inch wall thickness) 304 stainless steel, this stainless-steel exhaust pipe features a 6.20-inch straight section pre-welded to the 1/4-inch-thick mounting flange.
