Speedway Motors 113599 Details

These front sway bar kits are designed as a performance replacement upgrade for your classic GM muscle car. They feature a 1-1/8" diameter solid steel bar and come with all hardware needed for a successful installation. If your Camaro/Firebird or Olds came with an anti-sway bar from the factory, chances are this kit will be a direct replacement. If it did not, a small amount of drilling will be required for installation of the sway bar kit.

Swaybar itself is good, the brackets supplied are junk

The brackets supplied are junk and spent several hours modifying them to even dry fit before installing the sway bar. Holes (Ovals) are so big the bolts slide through, but no washers supplied, after adding my washers they needed to be cut to fit because the brackets barely clear the factory holes. Advertised as bolt on, but barely fits in factory holes in frame, bolts end up TIGHT against the bracket. I would have been better off to just make my own brackets to start with.

Installed into my 67 Camaro SS 396. Bar has made a big change in the amount of body roll. Would buy this again for future projects. Will definitely recommend to others.

Wanted to tighten up my front end on my camaro. The stock 3/4" sway bar was not cutting it anymore! Just going around a simple curve in the road I felt so much body roll! This sway bar did exactly what I needed! Very pleased with the end result. The only issue was trying to maneuver it into place.

Will this work with stock control arms, my car was originally a six cylinder and I do not believe it had sway bar provisions?

I have installed this sway bar with new upper and lower arms purchased from you but sway bar hardware is not lining up. It is more than a 1/2" off on both the driver and passenger sides. Because of the sever angle of the hardware the sway bar is hitting on the drop spindle hardware. Is it possible I was sent the wrong parts? I have a 1970 Nova.
