Overall Assessment

Customers praised the product for great looks and fit. It is as-advertised and has found use on many flathead engines. The positive accents it adds to engines make buyers willing to buy again, pointing at its high level of satisfaction. A slight issue mentioned was about the tube's length and cap issue, which made a buyer resort to JB Weld for fitting. However, other customers experienced perfect, strong fitting with this product. Despite lacking baffles, it’s still considered of high-quality by users. Customers also find it has a good price point for the quality it offers.

A lot of "Bling" for very little "Ka-Ching"

One of the longest Tubes available which I needed for clearance. Wish the Tube had Baffles in it like some O.E. Tubes have. Otherwise, excellent, high quality part!!!

Tube is to short and doesn't fit right. Cap pops off.

I was very disappointed when I went to install it. It was loose in the fill hole and when I tried to tap it in with a wooden mallet, it still wouldn't seat with moderate force, so I quit. I ended up seating it with JB Weld, which also allowed me to install it slightly cocked back so it would clear the radiator hose. In my opinion, the tube is just exactly the wrong length for use with my Canadian Merc aluminum intake. It should be about an inch longer. After all this, after I drove the car a few miles, the cap popped off. No amount of effort can make it seat satisfactorily.

This Oil Filler Tube is not long enough to clear the radiator hose on the head. Hose kit is the one that has polished tube and hoses on the ends. Can't place the cap on tube.
