1949-53 Flathead Ford Gasket Set

I would not recommend this product

Oil pan paper gaskets are not cut properly, the corners and several bolt holes dont line up. There were several rope seals shipped in the kit and none of them are the correct diameter. Most were the same size when the front should be wider and short, the rear is smaller and longer. I tried every combination from the kit and even crimped the oil pan lip closer together with no luck. The head gasket fire rings are installed opposite of each other on the head gaskets, every other manufacturer seem to install them on the block facing side. I had purchased the felpro gasket set from speed way and did not have any issues with my last engine. Figured i would try the speedway set this time to save a little money but now will have to get a second set of gaskets to finish my engine.

Real main rope seal was wrong size. My engine takes a 5/16 square rope and two sets were sent in the kit, both 3/8 inch square. I have notified Speedway about the issue, but it has been two weeks and no word on getting me the correct part.
