Overall Assessment

Customers generally find the product satisfactory, highlighting its solid quality with more metal around the outer edge than original flywheels. However, it requires some adjustments for installation as the rear oil drive gear cover bolts may interfere. It works fine once implemented correctly but has an issue with its center hole being too large for the pilot bearing. Despite some challenges, customers would still consider repurchasing, indicating its overall dependability over competitors.

I left a previous review weeks ago on this flywheel and Speedway never posted it. I installed this flywheel onto my flathead and the rear oil drive gear cover bolts interfere with this flywheel causing the engine to not turn over. I had to remove the flywheel and shave the original oil gear cover bolt heads down. This flywheel has more metal on it around the outer edge than the original flywheels.

Is this compatible with your 10-1/2" long style pressure plate (#91015635) which has an 11-3/8" bolt circle diameter? If so, it appears your spec is incorrect since it shows 11-1/2" bolt circle diameter. Also, what is the number of teeth on the ring gear?

I can't find any B&B pressure plates that have the 11 3/4" bolt pattern. The standard 6 evenly spaced bolt holes for the B&B pattern is 11.625(11 5/8), is this a typo on the listing? I have a merc pressure plate with 11.625 hole pattern, and want to know if this flywheel will fit.
