Great fit to the 27 roadster body

The final finish was left with Ruff edges. I will have to smooth out and re-bead blast.

These posts look great and will lower the windshield so my 27 Roadster looks more like a hot rod. They are well made.

If you want a more progressive look to your 27T, these posts are the answer. They fit great, and look very cool. They come with no mounting holes which slows you mount them any way you want. We are mounting the ones we have by drilling and tapping screws in from behind the cowl to show a real clean look. But they would look nice with countersunk SS Machine bolts that were countersunk flush, and polished too.

How did you envision drilling and tapping these stanchions? It looks like there is plenty of meat to drill and tap one hole towards the top to install a stud, but towards the bottom (where you would also need a stud to cinched the lower edge down onto the body, there is no room to drill/tap a blind hole for a stud. Also, my polished stanchions have quite a few dings and voids. Are they all like this? Thanks!

Are these posts designed to fit an origional '27 (steel) body? And are they meant to be run without a windshield frame-i.e. does the glass just install in each side-is that adequate support?

1. What is the height of the post? 2. Does the glass fit right into the frame or does it need a windshield frame. 3. If so, how much for the frame?
