The engine stand offers quality features such as sturdy construction, versatility for various engine models, and ease of assembly, attracting wide recommendations. Its pivotal ability for rotation provides practicality. However, while it's rated highly for holding various engines, reviews advise caution with heavier models, as the stand could buckle. A recurring comment is its robust four caster design, reducing the risk of tipping compared to its three-caster competitors. Minor complaints consist of thinner than expected square tubing that can flex under considerable weight. Despite these, its functionality and price point make it a good investment.

Didn't Even Grunt Under the Weight of a 1954 Cast Iron Hemi
I have owned quite a few 3 leg engine stands and they have always made me nervous! I just brought home a freshly built cast iron Hemi from the machine shop which has been a labor of love over the past year. I didn't feel comfortable suspending it in midair with four bolts even if the stand was built like a Sherman tank, so when I bought this stand I was at first skeptical I could trust it. I was very surprised when I opened the box and saw what I got for the price. The stand was well made, and trust me I looked over ever weld carefully! It went together easily with good instructions and hardware in the box. I had it put together in 20 minutes and in no time was hoisting my engine from a wooden crate ready to mount it up. I did not have trouble maneuvering it between the legs of my cherry picker, and before I knew it I was ready for the new engine stand to take over. I let the pressure off the cherry picker and the chains went slack. The stand didn't break a sweat. Since that time I have been rolling my engine around the garage getting it ready for paint and final assembly. I would recommend this stand to anyone who needs a reliable way to get an engine off of the ground! Great product!

Made in China...nuff said.
Made in China...nuff said! Assembly was easy although I had to go buy an extra nut and lock washer because the package of nuts and bolts had torn open and a couple escaped. Two bolts on the pre assembled casters on the front fell out almost immediately upon first use. Upright part of the stand is welded on at a bit of an angle! Where is the quality control??? It stands at a comfortable height...that is the one good thing I can say about this engine stand.

The stand should never be used for anything heavier than a transmission. This is definitely not for anything anywhere near the suggested weight. I tried to put a 600 pound Ford FE 390 on it, and it almost buckled!

Does not work with a Ford FE engine. I could only mount three mounts. I had two engine mounts built 1" longer to make this work. Otherwise it may work for someone else

Previously used a 3 caster design and wanted a stand that was heavier design with less chance of tipping. Found this 4 caster style to be just that.

Easy to assemble. Fits a wide variety of blocks. My only complaint is that the square tubing used on the frame is a little thin and it does flex some under heavy load. Good casters!
