Return PolicyResidual pressure valves retain a minimum brake line pressure to help eliminate excessive pedal travel. This residual pressure valve is 10 PSI for drum brake systems to compensate for return spring tension and maintain wheel cylinder sealing in the drums. This residual pressure valve is billet aluminum and red anodized for easy identification.
Features a distinctive red anodized finish with a 1/8" NPT port at each end. Use 10 PSI residual valves for drum brake applications only. Inverted flare or AN threaded adapter fittings to the 1/8" NPT female thread will be required and are noted below and available.

Customers consistently praised the product's quality and practicality in various car models, including hot rods and vintage vehicles. They reported it was easy to install and worked perfectly in brake line applications, offering improved braking. High-quality material appears to hold pressure effectively, leading some users to prefer this over cheaper, less reliable alternatives. Several customers expressed intent to repurchase, underscoring their satisfaction. Some noted the product worked well even in demanding situations like auto cross racing, with the 10lb residue valve not adding excessive drag on rear disc setups.

Other than bleeding the brakes and making some new lines and flaring the old lines, the install was quick and easy. Because I did not read carefully I had the buy adapters for 1/8"NTP to 1/4" double flare. Locally I had to run to four differant parts houses to get 4 adapters.

Ten pound residue valve is designed for drum brakes but didn't add too much drag on rear disc set up which used in auto cross racing.
