Wilwood 140-18162-DR AERO4 Big Brake Rear Parking Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18162-DR is the red-caliper version of the AERO4 big rear parking brake kit for 1988-1998 C1500 rear ends. It pairs red powder-coated calipers with 14.00-inch SRP drilled and slotted rotors to deliver more visible style along with stronger rear braking.

This version is a strong fit for custom truck builds where the rear brake package is intended to complement visible front brakes and upgraded wheel packages.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
