Wilwood 140-18161-DR Forged Superlite Big Rear Parking Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18161-DR is the red-caliper version of the Forged Narrow Superlite 4R big rear electronic parking brake kit for 1988-1998 C1500 rear ends. It combines red powder-coated calipers with 12.88-inch SRP drilled and slotted rotors to create a rear brake package with both strong performance and standout styling.

This version is ideal for custom truck builds where the brake package is intended to be both functional and visually prominent.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
