Wilwood 140-18156-DR AERO6 Big Brake Front Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18156-DR is the red-caliper version of the AERO6 14-inch big front brake kit for Chevrolet and GMC applications. It combines large six-piston front calipers with SRP drilled and slotted rotors to deliver serious front stopping power and a bright custom look.

This version is well suited for custom trucks and SUVs where the brake system is meant to stand out visually while also supporting higher-performance and heavier-duty driving demands.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
