Overall Assessment

Our product has been praised for its confirmed quality and ease of installation, clearly enhancing the look and ride height of various models of trucks. Customers are particularly satisfied with its practicality, as it significantly lowers the vehicle as advertised, and fits perfectly, even in vintage models like a 1951 Chevy. Moreover, clients praised their usability in applications like the Sonoma and S10. Nonetheless, a few customers noted the drop might not achieve a complete 4", with one customer having an issue with unevenness. Despite this, our product is recommended above competitors for achieving the desired lowered look in trucks.

I used these springs for a 1951 Chevy truck. I did a lot of checking and this seemed like the best fit for what I wanted. After constructing the hangers and shackles they are perfect. The trucks ride height is spot on.

Since I didn't measure before and after, I don't know if it actually dropped 4". I have no bed on the truck, but it has lowered and is plenty soft. Easy installation, looks good.

Make it fit

After installation I noticed one side of truck leaned very noticeably. Pulled springs back off and one spring has 1/2" more arch than other. Also springs are too long causing the shackles to run out of travel.

Good product, but don't expect a full 4" drop

These went on a short bed, reg cab 98 s10. Installation was easy enough, but definitely not a full 4" drop on my truck. Maybe would be closer to a 4" on a ext cab or a long bed, who knows?

Questions & Answers

1 Question • 1 Answer

What am I missing? When I mounted a pair of your 4" low leaf springs on my early S10 chassis with 2" lowering blocks the rear spring shackle rests against the frame and does not allow for travel, with the lowering blocks removed it only gives about 1/2" of clearence. I am also using your 4" to 6" rear drop shock absorbers. Neither set up affords a "smooth" ride. Help please...
