Our steering joints are offered in multiple shaft styles and spline counts to allow you to build the custom steering system you need no matter the steering column/shaft or steering gear being used.
3/4-DD to 5/8-36 Steering Joint Connects Steering Shafts to GM Steering Gears
Our steering shaft U-joint features a 3/4-DD end for use with a .750-inch diameter “double D” steering shaft with a 5/8-36 spline on the opposite side for use with GM steering gear boxes such as the popular Corvair/Vega, some GM rack-and-pinions, as well as micro sprint rack-and-pinion steering gears. Our forged steering shaft U-joints include sealed needle bearings for smooth and precise steering response and are black oxide coated for corrosion resistance. Lastly, we laser etch the steering U-joint’s shaft and spline specs on each end of our steering couplers to help your installation go smoothly and quickly. We offer a full line of steering U-joints and steering shafts to help complete your connection from steering column to steering gear, no matter the chassis or application.
