Overall Assessment

Customers appreciate the product for its sturdy construction and reliable performance. They confirm that it fits well and works efficiently, even in customized settings. It's praised for the Mustang master cylinder, ease of installation, and the flexibility of mounting options. The pedal arm and bracket of the unit are plated, enhancing its quality. Some customers expressed they had to make slight adjustments or grind the zinc coating for welding, but overall, they commend the product's durability. Its heavy-duty construction perfect for purposes such as T-bucket builds or rat rod builds earned it recommendations.

Still a great product

Had to modify it quite a bit to fit in the tight spot available. With the pedal pivot below the floorboards the bottom of the master cylinder hung way below the bottom of the frame and would have been too close to the ground for daily driving. Solid construction made it easy to modify and worked out just fine.

pedal 91631944 will not work on my 23 t bucket. the pedal needs to be lined up with the clevis not 1 3/4 inches to the left. heating and bending it that far will likely break it or weaken it, cutting my floor will not help as the steering column will be in the way. pedal 91631987 was suggested as pedal is lined up with the clevis , I have that pedal to, however that pedal is so huge and such a wild angle that the fire wall would need a slot cut in it to allow it to move properly and that's not going to happen. unfortunately both set ups will have to be returned as neither are going to fit. looks like I am making my own.

This is a great set up, worked well for our project! Easy to build a frame bracket for. Heavy steel, wont ever bend!!! We had to shorten the pedal length. was easy to cut and weld. Would use this product again.

This master cylinder works as advertised. I have used this master cylinder set up on a bucket for eleven years and 8000 miles without any problem. I had to grind down the push rod a little during installation to keep it from binding up but did not affect the operation. I like that it is a Mustang master cylinder that should be easy to find rebuild parts for. It is well built and expect no problems in the future.

I was pleased to see that the pedal arm and bracket are plated on this and not just bare steel. The master is seemingly of good quality for a basic unit but perfect for that budget build.

Would be much easier to install if there was a bracket that mounted inside the frame channel to allow flush mounting. As it is I have to make my own.

I made a bracket to mount it outside the frame on my T truck. It would haave been nice to have a reversable mount come with it.
