Rack and Pinion - Power - 1955-57 Thunderbird - 272/292/312

• This kit is based on a rear steer center take-off style rack & pinion
• as are the majority of our kits
• but this one is specific to these Thunderbirds.
• The rack & pinion is mounted to a one piece mounting bracket which bolts to the frame using the same holes for the steering box and the idler arm on the passenger side.
• The UniSteer kit was designed to go on a Thunderbird with stock suspension and 272
• 292
• and 312 motors.
• Let us know and we can modify the kit to fit popular small block motors
• like the 289
• 302
• and 351 before shipping.
• Install was done on a vehicle with stock exhaust manifolds. Headers may work but might need modification.
