Ultra lightweight adjustable cam gear for the Ford 2.3 mini stock engines. These adjustable gears eliminate the need for the large steel factory belt guide washer, as they are machined directly into these gears. Gears feature ARP nuts and bolts to eliminate stripping of the aluminum due to repeated use. I used this on a 1986 cylinder head with a Comp cam, dual valve springs, and a long tube header in a early 1974 Mustangii and it help wake up the little engine and I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a bit more power and/or fuel economy. Great little product and highly recommended to everyone with an older 2.3l.

Bought this because I was tired of it taking multiple tries to get the cam timing just right. Everytime it would move slightly and be off a tooth or so, this solved my problems, one and done. The only drawback is there is no timing mark on the pulley to line up with the timing mark on the housing if you using that method. I am running no timing cover anyway and had the valve cover off so I just used the angle finder accross the cam lobes method. Once the belt is on its easy enough to adjust the cam until it's dead on, then just tighten the nuts and your done.
