Speedway Motors 91064150 Details

If you're running the common H-4 bulbs in your standard or tri-bar headlights, this is just the set-up you need. The turn signal bulb and socket simply attach to the H-4 bulb giving you an indicator light in your headlight. Amber L.E.D. bulb included.

WARNING: This indicator is a single LED design and should be used as a secondary turn signal light source for the front of the vehicle. It should not be used or considered as the primary turn signal light. A more prominent turn signal light source should be used in conjunction with this LED indicator.

Application

NOTE: This L.E.D. Turn Signal Indicator for H-4 Bulbs cannot be used with a sealed beam style headlight bulb as a sealed beam bulb is not of the H-4 style.  It will also not work with the Speedway Replacement 7" Headlights, item 91061010 and 91061011.

Overall Assessment

Our product offers an efficient solution for headlights signals and turn indicators, providing a cleaner look and enhancing the aesthetic of various automobile models. Customers confirm the easy installation and commend the innovative design for eliminating extra holes in the front end. While some users find the lights not bright enough to be visible with headlights on, others have managed to utilize them effectively. For superior visibility, some customers suggest replacing the original bulb with an amber ba9s 21-watt bulb. A few customers had issues with product operation, many however successfully employed them in their vehicle customization projects. There were several recommendations for the inclusion of parking lights. Overall, the product is seen as a practical, easy-to-install, and cost-effective solution for signal light problems.

Led bulbs for H4 headlight/turn signal

Am restoring a 49 Studebaker pickup and needed to find turn signal bulbs I could solder in place of the original turn signal bulbs. These worked perfectly!! You can cut the retaining ring off and find a variety of uses for these bulbs.

Poor quality

The bulb holder is difficult to install as it must be placed in the same holder as the light bulb. Once installed the light was not bright enough to be seen if the headlights were on. The bulbs quit working entirely after 2 days.

These came with a warning. Not to be used as primary turn signals. They are right. Not visible with headlights on. There is a slight glow at night with the headlights off but I never drive at night with the headlights off. Not even useful as an additional turn signal.

Does this set behind the h4 bulb at the reflector location, or do you enter it through the reflector with the h4 over it using the wire fasteners to hold them both.
