mounting rear tractor tires Hi, I ordered part number #91806415 (2 rear tires) for my 1952 Murray tractor as suggested by your tech. Usually when I mount tires I bake them on a cookie sheet at 200 degrees for 10 mins. That makes them soft and plyable to go right on the rim easily. These rear tires are bigger and wider than the car tires I usually use. Trying to prepare these larger tires the same way , 200 degrees for ten mins. isn't working. After that time period the tire is barley warm and won't stretch or bend at all. I need to know the trick to mounting these larger tires. Do I heat at a hire temp.or longer time period? I don't want to ruin or burn the tire. I am so close to finishing this project. All parts needed for this project were ordered here and am very happy. Please, any suggestions would be appreciated.
