Borrowing wheels and test fitting them is certainly an option, but gets old fast, and really only works if you have a lot of friends willing to lend you their wheels with matching bolt pattern. There are no modifications required to the original wheel simulator, as the tire visualizer simply bolts right on in place of the tool’s wheel diameter angle plates and uses just the center lug plate of the WheelWise® wheel simulator tool. The tire size visualizer works with all our WheelWise® wheel simulator tools, no matter the lug pattern and is designed to simulate tires from 14 to 22 inches in rim diameter, with 8 to 14 inches in tire width and a sidewall height of 2.5 to 11.5 inches. This means that our WheelWise® tire simulator can easily go from a low profile performance tire to a 14-inch wide drag slick with a tall sidewall in just a few minutes by simply loosening the tool-free fasteners and making a few adjustments to the sliders.
