A spring-loaded detent ball securely latches onto sockets, preventing them from being dropped or left stuck on fasteners. Four detent grooves provide a secure connection with the drive tool and a detent pin hole allows user to choose whether to engage pin. Made from premium 6140 Cr-V steel, it is precisely heat treated for superior strength and protected by a corrosion-resistant manganese phosphate finish.
