E-T Mags X545C475G23 Details

These 15 inch wheels will give your car that "wheels-up," fuel altered look! Back in the 1960's the only way you could get these were in a spindle mount without any brakes. Looked good, but stopping was scary. Forty years later they finally got it right. These 4.5 inch width wheels bolt on just like any other wheel. They just look better. This is a one piece cast wheel with a high luster, precision machined outer face.

Designed for T-Buckets, Willys, Anglias, High Boys, Pro Streets or any Rod that wants that nostalgic “wheels up” look of yesteryear. The really special part about this 15 inch wheel is that it’s a bolt on! (You didn’t notice the lug nuts did you?) That allows the E-T Gasser to be used with brakes. Bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4" and is designed to fit straight axle or independent front ends. Construction is all aluminum. Wheels have a machined rim and a painted "as-cast."

  • Center caps are included. Iron hubs may need to be machined to clear center bore (see instructions).
  • Uses standard taper seat lug nuts (Not included)
  • Valve Stems not included
  • Will NOT work with Wilwood brake kits that have 1/2" wheel studs.  You will need 7/16 studs to make this wheel fit.

Overall Assessment

Customers have overwhelmingly praised the product for its superior quality, aesthetic appeal, and excellent fit. They've embellished their classic and project cars, particularly gassers, with the wheels, transforming their appearance. Despite complaints about needing to machine hubs for a perfect fit, customers are satisfied with the product's performance. Its lightness, strength, and great looks are highlighted, with several customers confirming repurchase intent. However, there was dissatisfaction due to machining issues affecting the application of lug nuts. The wheels' vintage charm and ideal fit to achieve a 1960s look have garnered extensive recommendations.

This is a great looking wheel for a hot rod.

The finish of these wheels are outstanding and they look so much better than the mags that were on my car. Although I was a little worried about the hub clearance it turned out to be a non issue and the wheels fit on the hubs with no problem. Definitely a good idea to check before installing though. One problem I ran into was that the stock wheel studs {late gm rotor/hub} were too short and would only give me 3-4 threads for the lug nuts. For my application I found that ARP 100-7702 were a direct replacement and just needed to be cut to length after installing. Another issue that I ran into once they were mounted was with the push in center cap being very loose. I think it might be that the o-ring diameter is too small. I wouldn't run them on the street as they are. I've contacted ET about it but haven't heard back from them yet.

Nope

I cannot use the wheels as supplied by speedway on my wilwood hubs, supplied by speedway. I dont think these wheels were fully machined. You cannot fit a lug nut in them so it reaches the seat. Not pleased at all. the lug seat is not machined and you cannot fit even a 3/4" socket past the recess. If someone made lug nuts that would fit into these wheels, i cannot find them. Speedway says they dont have any that will fit and blamed it on the 1/2 lug studs, that came with the wilwood hubs.

I purchased these wheels and a Wilwood 835140152 disc brake kit for 49-54 Chevy spindles.. The wheel studs on the Wilwood hubs stick out to the end of the wheel cap. The Wilwood wheel studs are 1/2 x20x3" I was send 7/16 short lug nuts by the tech helpline.who helped me place the order. Do I need wheel spacers. or special long lug nuts to cover the long studs ( which may look odd)
