Tanks TM34BN-T-KIT6 Details

New and improved! This notched corner tank is perfect for mini-tub applications. Both corners are notched 7" in and 7" back for better tire and exhaust clearance. The rear of the tank is the stock depth while the front of the tank is 1" deeper than stock. This additional rake of the gas tank provides better fuel delivery to the pump.

  • Fuel Injection Ready!
  • Includes 2 piece neck design that simply connects with supplied 2" ID rubber hose.
  • Utilizes our GPA series fuel pumps, available in sizes from 109 to 450 liters per hour.
  • Uses aftermarket 5-bolt senders. Multiple Ohm ranges available to work with factory (0-90 ohm) or aftermarket gauges. If using tube sender or reed sender, length is 6".
  • EFI style internal baffling with extra Large 4.8 liter dual tube baffled fuel tray to prevent fuel pump starvation.
  • Perfect for your Pro-Touring, Autocross or Road Racing Ride.
  • Fuel pump and sender are recessed in the tank for easy installation with no modification needed to your car.
  • Looks like an OE tank when installed.

Put this in a 1968 Chevelle. I thought the notched corners were a good idea it at least couldn't hurt. Used a 3 inch diameter magna flow exhaust kit and this tank gave some much needed clearance from the exhaust. I still might wrap or shield the pipe passing right by the tank. Great quality tank and install was straightforward. Instructions recommend using Permatex 85420 on the included gaskets. Will definitely use Tanks, Inc again.
