  • For dirt track racing applications
  • Instantly shuts-off right front brake for improved corner entry handling and changing track conditions
  • Mounts directly into the brake line, anywhere between the master cylinder and caliper
  • A flip of the switch from the inside of the car by the driver activates the lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum encased, continuous duty solenoid
  • Solenoid blocks fluid flow to the right front caliper, eliminating the common “push or tight” condition experienced under corner entry braking
  • Compact design so it can be discretely mounted
  • Handles up to 3000psi
  • Incorporates a waterproof seal to handle frequent high pressure washings
  • Requires only a single amp of current
  • Works with all hydraulic brake systems, making it perfect for stock cars, modifieds and late models

TCI Automotive provides a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects for 30 days on racing equipment and 90 days on street/strip equipment, valid only for the original purchaser with proof of purchase. Approved transmission fluid and cooler flush products are required, and claims must be authorized through Edelbrock Group Tech Support. The warranty excludes modified, improperly installed or maintained, abused, accident‑damaged, improperly cooled, or unauthorized repaired products.

Bought this as a right front brake shutoff on a dirt street stock. Have used this particular product in the past and have never had any problems.

After repeated use of on and off cycles the valve was over heated and locked up (practice/testing). This didn't allow us to use the part as intended. We didn't even race with this part and Im happy we didn't. I contacted TCI directly and they didn't have much to say but show me the wrong instructions. Stating the valve is not intended to be on over 60 sec. This was not the case with us just repeated cycles with steering wheel micro switch and in turn leading to failure of part. (1/2 day practice) Unfortunately TCI wanted nothing to do with us and i understand its a race part. As we are all in the performance industry we all have to help each other, this is the reason for the review to make others aware. Thank you

Is this valve a bidirectional and blocking type solenoid valve? is it possible to get valve cicuit I am looking for a brake shutoff valve, which will be actuated continuously for 2-5 mins and during this operation the brake fluid is completely blocked independent of pressure difference. In de-actuated position the valve should support bidirectional flow of brake fluid independent of pressure. Thanks and Regards Shridhar
