I installed this on my Monte Carlo with a carburetor and GM 4l60e transmission. The controller includes all the wiring to connect to the transmission and control unit. It does require a throttle position sensor and it looks like Speedway Motors now offers it in a kit with the controller. The user interface is done on your phone through the TCI app as it connects via Bluetooth. All the settings are controlled through the app and it include a display of speed, throttle position, tach, and more. The one thing I have noticed is the Bluetooth can sometimes disconnect but it doesn't affect the control unit operation. If you have a gear/cable driven speedometer like my Monte Carlo you will need to use a converter because the modern transmission does not have the provision for the speedo drive as it is all electronic.

Is this the COMPLETE kit?? I see the other kit with the LCD display has a large wiring harness that comes with that kit. Is this the updated wireless version of the older kit that has the LCD display? Don't want to spend a grand on this kit and still need other parts to adapt a 4L80E to a carburated 396 in a 66 Chevelle SS
